WRS Chapter 2.3 (Preview)

Arc 2 – Chapter Three That investor’s surname was Dong, his age was close to forty, he was dressed up to the point of putting on airs, but his reputation in the circle was notoriously foul. This person liked to play with the circle’s male stars the most, and it was a common staple for them to end up injured and ruined after he’s had his fun. It was just extravagant spending, and in the entertainment circle, it was also an existence of being shaken with every stamp of feet, so there were still people who would be willing to follow him. In the past, Dong Yi had caught a glimpse of Ji Luoge at the celebration banquet. His only impression of him at the time was that the person looked very beautiful. However, in the blink of an eye, he was distracted by other matters and forgot about it. But today, meeting like this, it unexpectedly made the whole heart of this person surnamed Dong begin to itch. How had he not realised before that this Ji Luoge was so captivating?

Arc 2 - Chapter Two Shen Jiayan's next scene was with Su You. In this "Cricket" film, Su You's role was precisely the male lead, Zhu Fu. Arc 2 - Chapter One The studio was in a mess, the makeup artist was busy applying makeup for Mo Ming, and the assistant was using a towel to wipe away the water on his face. It was a hot day, all the staff members were inevitably somewhat dissatisfied. However, they encountered Ji Luoge this sort of master, his arrogance was big enough to be deadly, yet he didn’t have a single bit of acting skills. A simple scene of spilling water, Ji Luoge had already gone back and forth for more than a dozen takes. Any discerning eye could see that Ji Luoge was deliberately targeting Mo Ming. The irony was that Ji Luoge’s acting was so lame, and when he apologizes, the smugness in the corner of his eyes couldn’t be hidden. Yet he still thought his covering-up was very good, honestly believing that no one would know? ---------- Full chapter moved to Foxaholic! Read it  here >>

Arc 2 - Prologue The first mission ended, and Shen Jiayan returned to the mission space again. “Mission Results: Change the Shen family’s fate, success; let Gu Yu fall in love with you again, success. Gained points: 5000 + 1000. Mission completion grade: A.” The black cat jumped lightly onto Shen Jiayan’s knee, “Host, congratulations.” Shen Jiayan’s jaw slackened slightly, his eyes were full of incredulity: “There’s actually 6000!” “That’s right, Your Excellency Host, your mission was done very well.” The black cat asked affectionately, “So, does the host intend to take a break, or shall we receive a second client?” Shen Jiayan hesitated, then replied: "Receive the second client!" ---------- Full chapter moved to Foxaholic! Picked Up! Water Recovery System

Water Recovery System (覆水能收系统) Author: Bamboo Dusk/Zhu Xiang Wan (竹向晚) Every novel has a slag character, the one who decides to abandon the protagonist at his lowest, most helpless point, either because he can’t stand the poor guy’s circumstances or for other reasons. But after the protagonist wins his way in life again, they’re the ones who beg with broken sobs to be taken back. Still, water once spilled can’t be recovered again. Yet the unlucky Shen Jiayan has been bound to a Water Recovery* System to do just that. *water recovery – comes from an idiom that means “spilled water can’t be recovered” (English equivalent: there’s no use crying over spilt milk). ---------- So, after reading the first arc, courtesy of Shugui Translations, I decided to take their advice and pick up the second arc rather than wait for someone else to pick it up. So, here we are. This is my first attempt at translating a Chinese novel, so please be kind if I make any mistakes! I'll b
